President - Timiza J.

My name is Timiza and I am a Full Time Stay At Home Mommy of 3 and 2 Bonus Children for a Grand Total of 5 kiddos!  I have been married to my Amazing and Zany Husband Christopher for 7.5 years.   I am the current President of the West Contra Costa Chapter of Mocha Moms Inc.  and have been the President for the last 3 years.  Prior to being the President I was Vice President for 2.5 years.  I am one of the Founding Members of this Chapters.

Before becoming a Stay At Home Mom, I was a Preschool Teacher working with children ages 3 months to 2.5 years.  I started working with children at the ripe old age of 16 and LOVED it.  I stayed in this field until having my own child in 2003.  Here I began my most life altering, journey to the BEST JOB EVER being a Mom.   I definitely miss being in the classroom but, love the fact that I am blessed to be able to be home with my own children!

I am so happy that I found Mocha Moms!  I have met some really wonderful women and without this organization I’m not sure that our paths would have ever crossed.  The Mocha Moms organization supports Mothers in so many ways and understands that being a Mom isn’t always easy in fact it’s got to be the hardest job out there.  But, with your Mocha Sistah’s behind you one feels like you can conquer just about anything.

- Interim Vice President/Treasurer - Brandie N.

Hello! I'm Brandie and I'm in charge of the money. I joined Mocha Moms in 2009 after moving to the Bay Area and needing a resource for work at home moms. Since I'm new to the Bay Area, I needed to connect with women who knew where to go and what do with my under 2 year old. And I'm so glad I did!

My background is pretty diverse. After living in Long Beach for 18 years, I longed for a change and went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for my undergraduate degree in Financial (and business) Management. After graduating in 2001, my husband and I, started our own business, a retail store called Anime Express, specializing in the sale of Japanese animation, toys, video games and comics. We closed our business in 2008 after having our baby and to move closer to our family.

I never thought in a million years that I would be a work at home mom but I love it! I'm so glad that I found a resource like Mocha Moms to provide me with the support and information that I need to provide me and my family with so many unique and fun experiences of our lives.Thank you to all of my Mocha Sisters!

Secretary - Gia S.

My name is Gia and I am a stay-at-home but want to go back to work mom of 3; 17 (just graduated from High School), 4 (starting elementary), and 1 1/2 (starting potty training).  Yes, you read it correct 17.

My background is in architecture via Cal Poly SLO.  I moved to the bay area in 2000 where I met and married the man of my dreams several years ago.  After my second daughter, I decided to stay-at-home and spend some quality time getting my new little one off to a good start when I found Mocha Moms Inc.  It has been a true God-send joining this fabulous group of women whose priority is FAMILY FIRST.  The support, friendship and network is priceless to a mom at home looking for something and someone to connect with as you drive down the road of motherhood.

I am the current secretary for Mocha but have been somewhat active since 2004.  I completely committed in 2007 which brought me to my current post.  I look forward to the countless mommy and me activities, mom only nights and the monthly dad days. I like being a stay-at-home mom but I truly treasure my Mocha connections.
Much Mocha Love!!
